About the Division
Since its origins, Kennesaw State University (KSU) has leveraged its capabilities and assets to drive economic development and improve quality of life for stakeholders, local and beyond.
The recent consolidation of KSU with Southern Polytechnic State University strengthens the long-standing commitment to the legacy of the university. As the third-largest university in Georgia, and one of the 50-largest public universities in the country, the “New U” is poised to become a world-class institution, engaged with the communities it serves.
Established in 2015, the Division of Economic Development and Community Engagement provides leadership for the engagement activities of KSU and comprehensively connects the talent, research and creative initiatives, and educational resources of the University with institutional partners in local, state, national, and global communities.
